Design Improvement for MAS-CON® MLSS100 & MLAS100 Series
A design improvement has been incorporated on circuit sizes 2 through 12 and 14. The improved design features a solid backwall making the product more robust and less susceptible to bowing. Discrete molding eliminates chop marks on the side of the housing. The larger circuit sizes, 13 and 15 through 36 positions still have the "choppable" slotted backwall design. Our CE 100 Series connectors will mate with both the slotted backwall version (13 and 15 through 36 circuits) and the solid backwall version (2-12 and 14 circuits) Our CEP 100 Series connectors will only mate with the solid backwall version (2-12 and 14 circuits). When ordering MLSS100 and MLAS100 headers in sizes 2 through 12 and 14, you will receive the solid backwall design. If you intend to chop smaller sizes from a larger stick, we suggest you add the suffix "VA" to the part number. If you have any questions, contact our customer service department.
